The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Hussain Qureshi, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Secretary-General expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s contributions to United Nations peacekeeping operations and appreciation for the cooperation between the UN and Pakistan in other areas of UN activities.
The Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister also discussed regional issues.
