The Secretary-General met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, H.E. Mr. Abdelkader Messahel. The discussions focused on a number of regional issues. The Secretary-General thanked Algeria for its commitment to promote peace and security in Africa.

Le Secrétaire général s’est entretenu avec le Ministre des affaires étrangères de la République algérienne démocratique et populaire, S.E. M. Abdelkader Messahel. Les discussions ont porté sur plusieurs enjeux régionaux. Le Secrétaire général a remercié l’Algérie pour son engagement à promouvoir la paix et la sécurité en Afrique.
