The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Sauli Niinistö, President of Finland.

The Secretary-General commended Finland’s long-standing commitment and support to mediation efforts of the United Nations.

The Secretary-General and the President further exchanged views on issues in the Arctic region, sustainable development and climate change.
