Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Secretary-General and the President exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, including developments in Africa and the Middle East region. The Secretary-General congratulated Egypt on a very effective chairmanship of the G77.
