The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The Secretary-General and the Chief Executive discussed the upcoming parliamentary elections, prospects for peace negotiations, and regional dynamics, as well as the Geneva Ministerial Conference on Afghanistan to be held on 28 November 2018.
