Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand.

They discussed UN-ASEAN cooperation, Thailand’s contribution to the United Nations, and humanitarian and human rights issues in the country and the region, including Myanmar. They also exchanged views on migration, accelerating progress on the Millennium Development Goals, sustainable development and climate change.
