They discussed the potential for further accelerating Indonesia's progress towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) pertaining to health.

The Indonesian Government is focusing on increasing access to services through its social health insurance scheme. It will work with the support of the United Nations to engage different government, non-government and private sector actors to tackle key issues such as maternal mortality and malnutrition.
