Secretary-General's remarks to CNN at the ceremony observing the anniversary of the Baghdad bombing [unofficial transcript]

Ban Ki-Moon, Former Secretary-General

Q: Where were you four years ago?

SG: I was working as the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea.

But today, I feel very sad and moved by what has happened. I am very much committed to work for those families and friends of the victims, and friends who were there. The safety and security of our staff is a paramount concern for us, and I am going to take necessary actions to strengthen our safety capacity of our staff. Thank you very much.
