Kofi Annan, Former Secretary-General

Q: Are you relieved to see your term wrapping up?

SG: It was a very interesting period, and I wish Mr. Ban every success. I am sure he is going to succeed, and he is going to do it very well, and I hope you all heard his message of hope. I think he will be a great Secretary-General.

Q: How do you feel about the way things are going with the resolution on North Korea, Sir?

SG: Well, I think some progress has been made, and I hope that the resolution will be adopted shortly.

Thank you very much.
