The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso, President of the Republic of the Congo. The Secretary-General and President Sassou Nguesso discussed the situation in the Congo, the sub-region and cooperation with the United Nations.

The Secretary-General thanked the President for his personal engagement to find solutions to the crises in the Central African Republic and Libya. The Secretary-General and the President also discussed the reform of the United Nations.

Le Secrétaire général s'est entretenu aujourd'hui avec S.E. M. Denis Sassou Nguesso, Président de la République du Congo. Le Secrétaire général et le Président Sassou Nguesso ont discuté de la situation au Congo, dans la sous-région et la coopération entre le gouvernement de la République du Congo et les Nations Unies.
