The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for the strong cooperation between Viet Nam and the United Nations, particularly on the Sustainable Development Goals, climate action and peacekeeping.
 
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed matters pertaining to regional peace and security.
