The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria. 

The Secretary-General expressed his condolences to the Bulgarian people for the loss of life as a result of recent floods. 

The Secretary-General and the President discussed progress towards the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. They also exchanged views on the war in Ukraine and the Black Sea Initiative, the situation in the Western Balkans, developments in artificial intelligence, and the reform of the United Nations and the international financial architecture.
