The Secretary-General today met with H.E. Mr. Vladimir Norov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Secretary-General and the Minister discussed collaboration between the UN and Uzbekistan, as well as regional cooperation and connectivity. They also discussed the situation in Afghanistan and the Meeting of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Samarkand.
