The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Pham Binh Minh, Minister for Foreign Affairs.  The Secretary-General looked forward to working closely with Viet Nam during its tenure as a non-permanent member of the Security Council (2020-2021), when it will also hold the rotating chairmanship of ASEAN (2020). The Secretary-General and the Foreign Minister also discussed sustainable development, climate action, and other regional issues.
