The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Allen Chastanet, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and Chairman of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and with the Secretary General of CARICOM, Mr. Irwin LaRocque.
The Secretary-General expressed his solidarity with the situation in the Bahamas following Hurricane Dorian. They discussed climate action, access to concessional financing and support for SIDS. They further discussed regional developments.
