The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Lenín Moreno Garcés, President of the Republic of Ecuador. The Secretary-General welcomed Ecuador’s commitment to implement the 2030 Agenda and reiterated the UN’s readiness to continue supporting the country’s efforts. The Secretary-General and the President also discussed regional developments.
