The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Martín Vizcarra, President of Peru. The Secretary-General congratulated Peru for its role in the Security Council. The Secretary-General and the President discussed efforts undertaken toward the implementation of Agenda 2030. The Secretary-General welcomed Peru’s openness to receive Venezuelan refugees and migrants. The Secretary-General commended the President on Peru’s participation and contribution to the UN Climate Action Summit.
   

El Secretario General se reunió con el Excelentísimo Señor Martín Vizcarra, Presidente del Perú.El Secretario General felicitó al Perú por su labor en el Consejo de Seguridad. El Secretario General y el Presidente discutieron los esfuerzos para la implementación de la Agenda 2030. El Secretario General agradeció al Perú por la acogida de refugiados y migrantes venezolanos. El Secretario General felicitó al Presidente por la participación y contribución del Perú a la Cumbre sobre la Acción Climática de Naciones Unidas.
