The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Dragan Cović, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Secretary-General appreciated the commitment of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
 
The Secretary-General stressed the importance of genuine reconciliation to overcome divisions and work towards a common vision for the future of the country and reiterated the United Nations’ readiness to assist in that regard.
 
The Secretary-General and the Chairman of the Presidency exchanged views on the EU accession process. They also touched upon developments in the Western Balkan region.
