The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Michel Temer, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil. 

The Secretary-General commended Brazil for its commitment to the 2030 Agenda and to combating climate change.  He expressed appreciation for Brazil’s contributions to United Nations peace operations. The Secretary-General and the President discussed regional developments.
