Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Winston Peters, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Racing, and Minister for Rail of New Zealand

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Winston Peters, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister for Racing, and Minister for Rail of New Zealand. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for New Zealand’s support to the United Nations and for its commitment to Small Island Developing States. 

The Secretary-General and Foreign Minister Peters also discussed the importance of multilateralism. The Secretary-General thanked the Foreign Minister for New Zealand’s longstanding support to the Pacific region.
