The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Secretary-General and the President exchanged views on Cyprus, the situation in the Middle East, Libya and Ukraine. They also discussed wider UN – Türkiye cooperation, including the Zero Waste Initiative.
