Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Kishida Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan.  The Secretary-General thanked Prime Minister Kishida for Japan’s valuable contributions to the United Nations and its activities, as well as for Japan’s strong commitment to disarmament and non-proliferation.  The Secretary-General and Prime Minister Kishida discussed a number of key shared priorities, including Security Council reform.
