Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Hugo Roger Martínez, Foreign Minister of El Salvador

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Hugo Roger Martínez, Foreign Minister of El Salvador. They discussed the domestic implementation of the recently adopted Sustainable Development Goals.

The Secretary-General welcomed inclusive national efforts to address violence and insecurity and expressed the United Nations’ continued support in this complex task. 

The Secretary-General saluted the Alliance for Prosperity regional development plan as a step in the right direction to address the root causes of child migration.
