Readout of Secretary-General’s meeting with Indonesian President

The Secretary-General met today on the sidelines of the G20 summit with H.E. Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the President of Indonesia. They discussed developments in Syria as well as the strengthening of the ASEAN-UN partnership. The Secretary-General thanked the President for his commitment to the post-2015 development agenda, particularly through his personal engagement on the High Level Panel of Eminent Persons. The Joint Special Representative for Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, briefed the President on efforts to convene the international conference on Syria in Geneva.
