The Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs has been conducting monitoring activities for endangered marine species and invasive species. It is also regularly monitoring sea turtle nesting beaches in the country. Conservation activities are being carried out with the support of universities and non-governmental organizations. Starting from the autumn of 2018 under the project "Monitoring of marine invasive species”, within the framework of the GEF-6 project period, invasive species will be monitored by the Ministry. The work on "Identification of Marine Sensitive Areas" is still underway.
