Ms. Reichel Sivia Lovanitila (Solomon Islands) is the Desk Officer in the United Nations and the Americas (UNA) Division within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Solomon Islands. The key tasks of the Division include the management of bilateral relations between Solomon Islands and the Americas regions including the Caribbean as well as to work on key United Nations multilateral issues and processes.
Reichel graduated in October 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Politics & International Affairs and Geography from the University of the South Pacific (USP). As Reichel continues her journey in diplomacy, she is focused on gaining experiences to prepare her to undertake her master’s degree. She speaks local dialect, Solomon Islands pidgin and English.
