Ms. Mariam B. Killo (Tanzania) currently works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania as Foreign Service Officer in the Legal Affairs Division. Within the Ministry, she is entrusted with various legal issues, both bilateral and multilateral, including issues related to the rights of a child, international investment laws, international law on ocean affairs, bilateral investment treaties, and comprehensive economic agreements.
She also formerly worked at Echmack Law Associates as Legal Officer. Mariam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Mzumbe University in Tanzania and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations from the Centre for Foreign Relations. She speaks English and Swahili languages with some knowledge in Turkish.
