
Mr. Prateek Raj Joshi (Nepal) is Section Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal. Previously, he served in the Department of Passport, overseeing grievance handling, passport processing, and coordination between the ministry and Nepal’s missions abroad. He also worked at the Policy Research Institute, Nepal’s government think tank, where he focused on foreign policy and strategic affairs, co-authoring a research report on Nepal’s national interest.
Prateek holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuvan University, where he graduated as a gold medalist. He is also the author of Pararaastra, a comprehensive book on Nepal’s foreign policy. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, which has shaped his analytical approach to diplomacy, particularly in areas like strategic communication, global connectivity, and the role of technology in diplomacy.
