Readout of the President of the General Assembly’s Meeting with H.E. Mr. Andrzej Duda, President of Poland
The President of the General Assembly H.E. Philemon Yang met H.E. Mr. Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, ahead of his address to the General Assembly today.
They discussed multilateralism and the critical role of the UN as the ultimate place for dialogue in times of peace and, more so, in times of trouble.
They also talked about his contribution to international dialogue throughout his term of office, stressing that the experience and knowledge accumulated by the polish president are now part of our common heritage at the service of international peace and security.
As he comes to the end of his term, H.E Philemon Yang, wished President Duda all the best for the future.
