Readout of the President of the General Assembly’s meeting with the Prime Minister of Tuvalu, H.E.Feleti P. Teo

The President of the General Assembly H.E. Philemon Yang met with the Prime Minister of Tuvalu, H.E. Feleti P. Teo on 24 September, 2024.

The President of the General Assembly and the Prime Minister discussed the imminent threat of sea-level rise and the importance of addressing the issue in solidarity, ahead of the High-level meeting on addressing the existential threats of sea-level rise  to be held on 25 September 2024. 

Prime Minister Feleti P. Teo will deliver a statement at the opening of the high-level meeting.
