As part of Sustainability Week, the PGA calls on Member States, civil society, UN agencies, and the public to ‘Choose Sustainability’. This will include pledging to adopt sustainable habits and actions, individually or as an organization.

#ChooseSustainability campaign is part of an effort to encourage Permanent Missions, Mission staff, and the
general public to pledge to adopt sustainable practices, including under the five thematic areas of the Week.

We encourage Missions, Civil Society, UN agencies, and public to feel empowered by creating unique pledges that resonate with their values and commitments.

The objective is for each participant to adopt a pledge and utilize the customizable quote cards template provided via the following link:

Pledge Cards for I #ChooseSustainability Campaign.

We urge you to disseminate your chosen pledge across your social media platforms so as to amplify the campaign’s message.

Cross Promotion on Social Media #ChooseSustainability

Let’s also actively engage in cross-promotion efforts and contribute to these efforts by using our campaign hashtag #ChooseSustainability and tagging our official account in your posts on social media platforms.

This strategy will significantly enhance the visibility and impact of the #ChooseSustainability campaign, driving us closer to our shared goals of promoting sustainability and actionable change.
