READOUT: meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy

The President of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Italy, H.E. Giuseppe Conte. Prime Minister Conte reaffirmed his country’s commitment with environmentally friendly policies and with putting into effect the SDGs. The President of the General Assembly congratulated the Prime Minister and the Italian Government for their efforts in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, particularly on their initiative called Green New Deal.
