READOUT: meeting with the State Councilor and Foreign Minister of China

The President of the 74^th Session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, held a meeting with the State Councilor and Foreign Minister of China, H.E. Wang Yi.  President Muhammad-Bande congratulated China on the 70^th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China, and commended China’s commitment to sustainable development and strengthening multilateralism. State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wangyi reiterated China’s solid support to President Muhammad-Bande for his presidency and priorities. They reaffirmed commitment to international cooperation and partnership on the way toward 75^th anniversary of the United Nations and addressing global challenges.
