READOUT: meeting with the acting Head of State of the Principality of Liechtenstein

The President of the 74^th session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Tijjane-Muhammad Bande, held a meeting today with the acting Head of State of the Principality of Liechtenstein , H.H. Alois von Liechtenstein.  They reaffirmed the pivotal role of multilateralism and multilateral institutions to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and to face growing challenges like climate change. They also discussed initiatives sponsored by Liechtenstein regarding the combat of illicit financial flows linked to modern slavery and human trafficking. The Prince Regent reiterated Liechtenstein’s commitment in collaborating with the President of the General Assembly to reach common objectives.
