Nehali Anupriya is an Advisor in the Sustainable Development Team for the President of the 74th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande of Nigeria. This is the second Presidency in which Nehali has served, after being part of the office during the 73rd session of the General Assembly, under H.E. Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces (2018-2019), as an Analyst as well as serving as the Interim Special Assistant to Chef de Cabinet, H.E. Kwabena Osei-Danquah.

Nehali leads on matters pertaining to oceans, plastics, Small Island Developing States, and biodiversity. She brings experience on disaster relief, climate change, and risk reduction, as well as regional experience from the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat on climate finance.

Nehali holds an MPhil in International Development from Cambridge University and a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Exeter. She is a Fijian and British national of Indian origin, and speaks English, French, and Hindi.
