Monday, 5 February
The President of the General Assembly intends to convene an informal meeting of the plenary to hear a a briefing on the G20 summit at 11 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
The Co-facilitators leading the intergovernmental consultations and negotiations on issues related to the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration will present and discuss the zero draft of the Global Compact during an informal meeting from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
There will be a meeting of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Economic and Social Council Chamber.
Tuesday, 6 February
The President of the General Assembly will leave New York for Seoul, Republic of Korea..
The Co-facilitators of the “Review of the implementation of the General Assembly resolution 61/16 on strengthening of the Economic and Social Council” will convene their first informal meeting at 10 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
Thursday, 8 February
In Seoul, the President of the General Assembly is expected to hold meetings with H.E. Mr. Lee Nak-yon, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, and H.E. Mr. Chung Sye-kyun, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. He will also deliver remarks at the opening session of the Global Engagement and Empowerment Forum on Sustainable Development.
Friday, 9 February
The President of the General Assembly will be in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea, for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games.
The Co-facilitators leading the intergovernmental negotiations on the high-level meeting on the fight against tuberculosis will convene informal consultations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
