The President of the General Assembly will be in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to address the 8^th session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), on margins of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) and World Future Energy Summit (WFES). The President will also address the Emirates Diplomatic Academy on The role for multilateral diplomacy today.

Monday, 15 January

The President will address the closing of the Global Action Day of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).

Tuesday, 16 January

The President of the General Assembly will be in Kuwait City, State of Kuwait, to meet Kuwaiti officials. The President of the General Assembly will also address Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute in Kuwait.

An informal meeting of the General Assembly plenary will be held to hear a briefing by the Secretary-General, H.E. António Guterres, on his priorities for 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.

Wednesday, 17 January

The President of the General Assembly will be in Doha, State of Qatar, to address the Regional Dialogue on Sustaining Peace. During the same trip, The President of the General Assembly will deliver a lecture on Conflict. The President will address the closing of the Global Action Day of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).
