At a meeting with the President of the General Assembly, Mr. Miroslav Lajcak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, underlined readiness of Slovakia to assist in fulfilment of priorities set for the 70th session of the General Assembly.
He also informed Mr. Lykketoft on activities and engagement of Slovakia in UN matters. Among the topics discussed was the process of revitalisation of the General Assembly, reform of the Security Council, implementation of Sustainable Development Goals and financing for development as well as the challenges of the climate change.
