The President of the General Assembly met today with Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia and an official candidate for the post of the next Secretary General. Minister Lajčák informed the President about his vision of the future UN and praised his role in making the selection process of the UN Secretary General more transparent and inclusive. In their discussion they touched upon the migration that will be one of the main issues on the agenda for the incoming Slovak EU presidency
