UN General Assembly President Mr. Mogens Lykketoft today addressed a joint meeting of the Foreign Affairs, Development and Human Rights Committees of the European Parliament.
Mr. Lykketoft exchanged views with the members of the European Parliament´s Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Development and the Subcommittee on Human Rights.
Among the topics the GA President addressed were the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, Peace and Security, Humanitarian Affairs, the refugee crisis, UN reform and the election of the next Secretary General.
