During his visit to Sweden today, the General Assembly President Mogens Lykketoft met with the Prime Minister of Sweden, Stefan Löfven to discuss catalysing the implementation of the SDGs at his upcoming high-level event on 21 April and the current global migration and refugee crisis. The President also met with the newly appointed SDGs Advocate Her Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden to discuss the Agenda 2030 and the SDG implementation event.
He furthermore addressed the current global migration and refugee crisis, his priorities as the President of the General Assembly in 2016 and his High Level Thematic Debate on 21 April on Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals at the Post Davos Nordic Summit with business leaders from Scandinavia.
