Meeting with Minister of Development and International Cooperation of United Arab Emirates
On his visit to the United Arab Emirates, UN General Assembly President Mogens Lykketoft met with Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Cooperation in Abu Dhabi. They discussed the current crisis in Yemen and Syria and the implementation of the Agenda 2030 on Sustainable Development, which was adopted by UN member states in September 2015. In this regard the President mentioned the UN General Assembly’s High Level Thematic Debate in April on Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
