The President of the 70th session of the General Assembly met the Director-General of UNESCO, Ms Irina Bokova. In their meeting, they discussed UNESCO’s priority areas and its leadership in various areas, such as Global Education to advance the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. They both agreed on a close cooperation during the 70th session of the General Assembly.
