The annual Africa Dialogue Series (ADS) 2025 culminates with the High-level Policy Dialogue on 30 May from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. New York local time at the United Nations Headquarters and online. The HLPD is an interactive, forward-looking platform for global leaders and experts to exchange on the elaboration of actionable strategies for accelerating Africa's development. This segment of the ADS draws high-level policymakers and features the participation of United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, African Union Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, the Presidents of the UN General Assembly, heads of UN entities, and several government representatives, delegates, other senior officials and members of civil society organizations and youth representatives.
