At the invitation of the UK Foreign Office, the UN Legal Counsel, Mr. Miguel de Serpa Soares, participated in the “London Conference on International Law: States in Emergency - International Law at a Time of Reckoning”, which took place on 10 and 11 October 2022 in London.  The conference considered the role of international law in dealing with crises, and the impact of the current global situation on the international legal order as a whole.
