The International Trade Law Division’s core functions are to:

Provide secretariat and legal research services to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and its subsidiary bodies;

Assist United Nations organs, bodies and conferences in matters relating to international trade law;

Collect and disseminate information on the law of international trade; and
-
Provide substantive support to technical cooperation activities and training and assistance involving international trade law.
