CLCS Trust Fund (Members)
Voluntary trust fund for the purpose of defraying the cost of participation of the members of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf from developing States in the meetings of the Commission
Eligibility for Assistance
Assistance may be provided to members of the Commission from developing States upon the request of their nominating State through their Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
All applications for financial assistance must be made through an official communication from a State’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, requesting assistance for a Member of the Commission from that State, specifying:
Which sessions of the Commission assistance is being sought for (up to all three sessions for given year may be requested in one communication);
What type of assistance is being sought (air travel, daily subsistence allowance, and/or reimbursement for travel medical insurance/Headquarters medical insurance scheme); and
What assistance, if any, is being provided by the State.
