Registration 

LDC5 registration will open in late 2022.

Registration of official delegations, intergovernmental organisations  of participating Member and Observer States and of the European Union, intergovernmental organisations and entities that have observer status with the General Assembly, associate members of the regional commissions, specialised agencies and related organisations will be handled by the Protocol and Liaison Service (Protocol Office) through the online "eRegistration System", which is available through the e-deleGATE portal at https://edelegate.un.int/. 

For registration to the Conference, official delegations must go through the designated eRegistration focal point of their respective permanent/observer missions or liaison offices in New York, who have access to the eRegistration system. Delegations are advised to do so as early as possible to ensure timely registration. 

Registration details will be announced at a later stage.
 

Representatives of intergovernmental organisations and entities accredited with the General Assembly, associate members of regional commissions, specialised agencies and related organisations without an office in New York that wish to participate in the Conference must enroll in the online "eRegistration system" in advance in order to register for the Conference.

To enroll in the eRegistration system, please follow the instructions in the "Guidelines to apply for eRegistration account" posted on the Protocol website. 

 

LDC5 Registration for Entities in Consultative Status with ECOSOC and Entities Specially Accredited to LDC5

Registration information will be shared later for NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC and for those organizations specially-accredited to the Fifth UN Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC5). This includes civil society, youth delegates and the private sector.

LDC5 Special Accreditation - for Entities not in Consultative Status with ECOSOC and those Specially Accredited by the General Assembly to LDC5

To participate in the Conference, the following categories of relevant entities not in consultative status with ECOSOC must express their interest and apply for special accreditation.

  • Non-governmental organisations
  • Civil society organisations
  • Academic institutions
  • Private sector

The application for special-accreditation will be announced at a later stage.

Registration for Media  

Registration of media for LDC5 will be carried out by the United Nations’ Media Accreditation & Liaison Unit.

The deadline for pre-registration is TBC. On-site registration will also be available in Doha.
