Event Summary:

In October 2011, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon opened a panel discussion on sexual exploitation and abuse in conflict and post-conflict situations following a screening of The Whistleblower, which implicated UN staff and others in human trafficking and forced prostitution in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the 1990s. The audience included high-level officials and representatives of Member States who welcomed the timely discussion.
