The Island Gateway is a gateway to island resources on the internet. It facilitates networking, information exchange and resource collation. The Island Gateway is intended to serve the twin purpose of being a gateway to information on the internet related to small islands, and as a point source for scholars, organizations and related research activities pertaining to small islands and sustainable development by developing different databases for the purpose. http://www.geic.or.jp/islands/index.html

 

The Sustainable Development Gateway integrates the on-line information developed by members of the Sustainable Development Communications Network. In addition to over 1,200 documents available in SD Topics, it provides services such as a calendar of events, a job bank, the Sustainability Web Ring, a roster of mailing lists (listservs) and news sites dealing with sustainable development. http://www.sdgateway.net/. The SD Gateway offers a list of electronic mailing lists related to sustainable development.
